Grayson Sports Park 

An official groundbreaking for the $7 million Grayson Sports Park took place recently and construction has begun. Community members gathered for the rainy ceremony at the future location of the park at 596 Robert & Mary Ave. by East Carter Middle School. The facility will span over 64 acres of land. Work has started on three baseball fields and a soccer field which will be located around the concession stand and press box area. The park will have four soccer fields total, with some doubling as football fields, along with basketball and tennis courts.
